Aberdovey

Aberdovey is located in Snowdonia National Park, this picturesque village, with over 4 miles of glorious golden sands, lies at the mouth of the River Dyfi where it flows into Cardigan Bay and the mountains come down to the sea. Facing south, it retains its old world charm and is renowned for its mild climate and beauty.

Enjoy Aberdovey's beaches with a variety of water sports, fishing and boat trips on the sheltered waters, or golf on the renowned Aberdovey championship links golf course. Explore the harbour and narrow streets - large houses on the front built for the schooner captains, small cottages nestling behind for the crews. Walk in the mountains, amidst lakes, waterfalls and forest or relax and ride on the narrow gauge railways of Wales. Shop in the village shops or the local weekly markets. Enjoy bar snacks or meals at the local cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs.
